In 2019, La Phonkerie started its residency at Hotel Radio Paris which allowed me to build a relationship with JC and the whole team at HRP. It was only right that I became interested in developing my own show, showcasing my general interest in Jazz. So, that’s how the idea of A Jazz Scent (A Scent of Jazz/Adjacent, get it?) came about and I’m grateful it resonated with the good people at Hotel Radio.
