Happy New Year y’all. 2019 is looking good and full of opportunities here. I wish the same upon anyone reading this.

I have a lot of wishes and goals but the main one, I must say, is to keep on finding ways to help artists and make them look good. At least, that’s what I try to do every week with this show.

I’m glad to say that 2019 is starting off pretty good. Future dropped his Future Hndrxx Presents : The WZRD and I had “Krazy but True” on repeat ever since. With Outer Peace, Chaz Bundick aka Toro Y Moi explores new territories, leaning more towards alternative R&B. The Abra assisted “Miss Me” is definitely a stand out. 

A lot of new names also. Get familiar with singer Dua Saleh, whose hypnotic 1st EP Nūr honestly came out of nowhere. If you gave Noname‘s last album a spin, you might be familiar with Chi Town’s own Adam Ness. Another addition on the already long list of dope young artist from the Windy City.

On the french side, the homie Prince Waly has just released his second solo project and I’ve picked “Plan” featuring the one and only Alpha Wann who stay immaculate since his LP. Geneva based producer extraordinaire Varnish La Piscine links up with the ever so amazing Bonnie Banane for a “Soul Makossa” inspired “Face to Face”. Shouts out to Colors Records for keeping the dope releases coming.
