It took me a little while to release this but this is what’s been in rotation in my headphones these last weeks.

Some french flavors with Loveni, Alpha Wann and Jazzy Bazz who all delivered some fire. Lætitia Sadier is caught “Dans Un Moment D’errance” in frequent collaborator Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad‘s The Midnight Hour project while Bonnie Banane Chassol give a hint of their playful explorations.

I’m still amazed by the amount of dope music coming out of the U.K. The soul/jazz scene stays very dynamic. Find some tunes by Oscar Jerome, Miink, Talos or Tenderlonious.

Also, Mac Miller‘s “What’s The Use?” has Thundercat playing the bassline of the year, Syd is killing us softly on the Big Rube assisted “It Gets Better (With Time)”, H.E.R. resurrects a Lauryn Hill classic on “Lost Souls” and more …
